Presidential Historian Released From Prison; Will Be Monitored By GPS
BALTIMORE (WJZ)-- Presidential historian Barry Landau is heading home from prison, released by a federal judge in Maryland.
Landau and his assistant, Jason Savedoff, are charged with stealing priceless items from the Maryland Historical Society.
The judge denied prosecutors' arguments that Landau is a flight risk.
He will be monitored by GPS at his New York City apartment, and he will have no Internet access.
