Trial Begins Monday For Man Charged With 2010 Charles Village Stabbing

BALTIMORE (WJZ)– The trial gets underway on Monday for the man charged in the fatal stabbing of a Johns Hopkins researcher.

John Wagner is accused of killing 23-year-old Stephen Pitcarin during a robbery last year in Charles Village.

Wagner’s alleged accomplice, Lavelva Merrit, pleaded guilty to robbery in exchange for a lesser sentence and her testimony in Wagner’s trial.
