Md. Man Pleads Guilty To Possessing Child Porn

BALTIMORE (AP) -- Federal prosecutors say a former National Guardsman has pleaded guilty to possessing child pornography.

Thirty-year-old Bret Desmarteau, formerly of Odenton, entered the plea on Wednesday. He will be sentenced on Oct. 13.

According to his plea agreement, undercover FBI agents asked for access to profiles belonging to Desmarteau on a site that shares child pornography.

A search warrant executed on Desmarteau's home turned up child pornography on his computers.
