Normally I could care less with the first pre-season game.  It means nothing.  No one makes the team in the first game, and nothing of significance happens. That said, I will be very interested to see the level of play.  With so little practice time, will teams look like the Bad News Bears?  It really is possible…fumbles, sacks, penalties, you name it.  Certainly, the guys to watch are the young one, such as Jah Reid, Torrey Smith and Tandon Doss.   I don’t put too much stock in it, but if they look overmatched, that might be too much ground to make up in just a month before the Squealers game.
