Md. Man Convicted Of Killing Federal Witness


BALTIMORE (AP)– A federal jury has convicted a Baltimore man of murdering a witness after a leaked FBI report tipped him off that the victim was cooperating with investigators.


The conviction of 31-year-old Antonio R. Hall after a two-week trial was announced Thursday by federal prosecutors. He faces a maximum of life in prison at sentencing on Nov. 16.


According to trial testimony, Hall killed Kareem K. Guest. Guest had been giving authorities information about drug trafficking in a Baltimore neighborhood. Guest was killed on Sept. 20, 2009.
