ROCKVILLE, Md. (AP) — Eleven people are applying for an open seat on the Montgomery County Circuit Court.

Among those applying are four judges and six lawyers. The vacancy was created by the retirement of Judge Durke G. Thompson.

The Daily Record of Baltimore reports a judicial nominating commission will interview the candidates. The commission will then meet on Sept. 27 to decide which names to forward to Gov. Martin O’Malley. The governor traditionally
appoints a judge from the commission’s list.

Boy, that must be a good job with lots of kick backs for this many people to apply.

Someone please tell O’Malley to look into the camera when talking and stop looking left to right. Freaking guy can’t even look straight at the camera when talking.
