We had a writer on from Buffalo today, and basically he said the Ravens stole Lee Evans from the Bills. He says he was great value for the Ravens, especially for a 4th rounder. Evans is a speed guy. He’s better than Donte Stallworth ever was, and certainly is better than Torrey Smith right now. Evans gives the Ravens a legitimate deep threat. Defenses can’t double him and Boldin, and both of these guys are dangerous in 1 on 1 coverage. Plus, there’s no ‘diva’ in him, so he will be a great locker room guy, and won’t whine if he doesn’t get the ball. The Ravens still have work to do on the O-line, but this is a step in the right direction.
