92-Year-Old Woman Found Slain In Prince George's County

DISTRICT HEIGHTS, Md. (AP) -- A 92-year-old woman has been found dead in Prince George's County, and police are calling it a homicide.

Police say Thelma Elaine Steele's body was found Tuesday morning in District Heights. Officers found her after receiving a call and being asked to check on her welfare.

They say the woman suffered trauma to the body.

No other information was immediately available.
