BLOG: Nice For Now

We expect rain-free weather for the balance of today and a good deal of sunshine. Temperatures will reach the mid and upper-80s, and there'll be a light wind.

But, the overall pattern is going to remain "fluid" over the next few days because the upper-level winds are still going to be out of the west and northwest through the end of the week. And therefore, the next front "waiting in the wings" will be wasting no time moving through the Great Lakes and towards the Northeast and mid-Atlantic states late tomorrow and tomorrow night.

With at least some sun early, temperatures should return to the middle-80s tomorrow. And, with wind out of the southwest occurring ahead of that approaching front, there should be an uptick in the humidity. Most dewpoint temperatures will be in the lower and middle-60s, which isn't at all considered "oppressive," but a modest change, nonetheless. There'll be a few showers in the area, which could reach Baltimore at some point tomorrow morning. But a few showers and a thunderstorm are even more likely tomorrow afternoon, early tomorrow night and once again here on Friday.

Have a good day !!!
