Man Shot In Downtown Frederick, Wounded In Leg

FREDERICK, Md. (AP) — Frederick police are investigating a shooting downtown.

Police say a man was shot in the leg early Sunday morning near the intersection of West Patrick Street and North Bentz Street. The man was taken to a hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.

Investigators believe the man was shot during an altercation with another man in an alley. Police believe the shooter fled in a vehicle.
