Officials To Replace Bridge In Howard County

ELLICOTT CITY, Md. (AP) -- Howard County officials say a project to replace a 76-year-old bridge on Shady Lane in Glenwood is slated to begin on Monday.

Officials say the existing bridge will be closed until the new bridge has been finished. The project is scheduled to be completed by early February.

Shady Lane also will be closed to through traffic .4 miles north of Sharp Road and .9 miles south of Burntwoods Road. Signs will be posted to advise motorists.
