CAMBRIDGE, Md. (AP) — A Shore Health System spokeswoman says roofers are making repairs at Dorchester General Hospital and the hospital should reopen in the next two or three days.
Shore Health spokeswoman Linda Mastro told The Star-Democrat of Easton that the hospital’s laboratory received the most damage Sunday from Hurricane Irene. The spokeswoman says the emergency department, operating rooms, central supply, some patient rooms and the chemotherapy unit also were damaged. Mastro says roofers began work Sunday.
