FREDERICK, Md. (AP) — Harry Grove Stadium would keep its name under a proposed lease that has the backing of the Frederick Board of Aldermen.
The Frederick News-Post reports that the naming-rights issue was one of few point of agreement during a board workshop Wednesday.
The aldermen agreed that the name of the baseball stadium can’t be changed. Other features of the ballpark could be considered for naming rights, however.
The minor-league Frederick Keys will get a chance to propose other changes before the proposed agreement comes up for a vote tentatively set for Sept. 15.
