BALTIMORE (WJZ)– Northbound I-95 at Route 100 in Howard County will remain closed through Thursday evening’s commute due to an overturned tractor-trailer carrying junked vehicles.
Some of the junked vehicles being hauled fell onto the highway at 3 p.m. and caused two minor crashes. There are no serious injuries being reported from those accidents at this time. Cleanup of the junked vehicles, debris and fuel spill continues.
State Highway Administration is detouring northbound I-95 traffic onto Route 100. Drivers are advised to avoid this section of the highway for the next several hours, if possible.
