Prince George's Fire Displaces About A Dozen People

 

UPPER MARLBORO, Md. (AP) -- Authorities say a fast-moving fire has ripped through townhomes in Prince George's County, displacing 11 people including an infant.

 

Fire officials were called to the blaze in the 3000-block of Chester Grove Road in Upper Marlboro about 11:15 p.m. Thursday, and arrived to find heavy fire showing from a townhome. Officials say the fire spread quickly, causing a wall to collapse and damaging four townhomes.

 

Officials say no injuries were reported.

 

The cause of the fire is under investigation.
