Man Charged In Twin's Md. Death, Arrested In Ga.

MARIETTA, Ga. (AP) -- A 23-year-old man has been arrested in Georgia in the slaying of his twin brother in Maryland four years ago.

Howard County, Md., police say Wael Ali was arrested on Thursday in Marietta, Ga., where he now lives, on a warrant charging him with first-degree murder in the August 2007 death of Wasel Ali.

On the day Wasel Ali was reported missing, police say surveillance video shows the brothers leaving the Mall at Columbia after Wasel Ali was fired. Police say he had admitted his role in a theft scheme and implicated his brother.

A short time later, police say Wael Ali called a friend saying his brother was missing but he told friends he had already searched the area where Wasel Ali's body was found five days later.
