BALTIMORE (WJZ)– In the wake of Hurricane Irene, Baltimore City is turning fallen trees into gardening gold.
Hundreds of trees came down when Irene’s whipping winds swept through Maryland.
But instead of just tossing the giant limbs away, city Park and Recreation crews grounded them up into wood chips.
The best part? The mulch is free to any resident who wants some! Click here to see where you can pick some up.
