Tai Chi Court Opening In Bethesda

BETHESDA, Md. (AP) — Officials in Maryland are hosting a grand opening for a space dedicated to tai chi in a Bethesda park.

The opening ceremony for the tai chi court in Cabin John Regional Park is being held Saturday.

The space includes a circle made of flagstone where people can practice tai chi. The space is dedicated to David Chen, a Rockville resident who founded the Wu Wei Tai Chi Club in the area and practiced tai chi in the park every week for 12 years before he died in 2005.
