Man Dead After Pedestrian Accident
MILLERSVILLE, Md. (WJZ) -- Police are investigating a fatal accident involving a pedestrian.
According to police, an unidentified man was crossing the intersection of Furnace Branch Road and S. Meadow Road when he was struck by a car.
The driver, Joshua Foard, called 911. Paramedics pronounced the pedestrian dead at the scene.
Police say it does not appear that alcohol or speed played a part in the crash, and that it appears to be a result of pedestrian error.
