Which team is the Baltimore Ravens? Who are you?

The Baltimore Ravens have played three games this season and we have seen two decidedly different clubs. One Ravens team is 2-0 and they have outscored their opponents 72-14. The other Baltimore team was lifeless and got outplayed by the Titans in getting thumped 26-13.

Which squad is the true Ravens?

Hopefully, it’s the team that features an offense capable of rolling through defenses with ease. It is also capable of hitting QB’s and forcing turnovers with an array of high quality talent on “D”.

The Ravens we saw in Tennessee seemed flat and unprepared. They also seemed to be unable to make adjustments during the course of the game as the Titans dominated them on both sides of the ball.

I’m thinking the Baltimore Ravens are closer to the team that crushed the Steelers and Rams. That is a team that can compete for a Super Bowl title.

There is plenty of football left to be played in 2011.

It will be exciting to see the true Ravens show themselves.
