Take out the rain delay and last night might have been perfect. Then again if you take out the rain delay both games don’t finish minutes apart. The Baltimore Orioles got three straight two out hits off of Red Sox Closer Jonathan Papelbon to defeat Boston 4-3. The third hit from new Red Sox killer Robert Andino, ignited a celebration on the field that gave us a glimmer back to the glory days of Orioles baseball. Minutes later Evan Longoria hit a walk off home run capping a comeback that started with Tampa Bay trailing the Yankees 7-0 in the 8th.
I wish the Orioles were more relevant because that was one of the best nights of baseball that I’ve ever seen!!
