CFLs Use 75 Percent Less Energy

BALTIMORE (WJZ) -- This energy saver focuses on making the switch to CFLs.

Mary Bubala reports a compact fluorescent light bulb or CFL uses 75 percent less energy.

They last about 10 times longer than an incandescent bulb.

The energy-saving light bulbs will pay for themselves in about six months.
