I was doing a little homework and wanted to throw out the number for the games on Wednesday. Ill start first with the Brewers and Diamondbacks series. Arizona got a big win last night at home and today’s game seems like a toss up. The Brewers lead the series 2-1 and send Randy Wolf to the mound tonight. He has only faced the Diamondbacks once this year and he gave up 7 earned runs and 2 homeruns. Justin Upton took him yard in that game. Joe Saunders takes the bump for Arizona and he too has only had one start against the Brewers. Arizona lost that game but Saunders gave up 2 runs in 5 innings of work. Ryan Braun hits him very well, he went 3 for 5 with a homer. The Cardinals send Edwin Jackson to the mound who has not faced the Phillie’s this year. He is right handed and in a must win situation with the Cardinals trailing 2-1 in the series. The Philles send Roy Oswalt to the mound. He has faced the Cardinals and only had one really bad outing. The other 2 outings he was terrific, giving up only 1 run in 12 innings. Oswalt is right handed and looking back at the numbers Lance Berkman has good numbers against him.
