When you have the opportunity to knock the New York Yankees out, you have to take advantage of it. The Detroit Tigers had that chance, at home and against AJ Burnett, and didn’t get it done. The Tigers looked like they were going to knock Burnett out of the game in the 1st inning, but Yankees centerfielder Curtis Granderson made a great catch with the bases loaded and two out. They play saved three runs and Burnett seemed to relax a little after that. Now game 5 of the ALDS will be at Yankee stadium on Thursday and I fully expect the Yankees to advance to play the Texas Rangers in the ALCS. Texas disposed of the underdog Tampa Bay Rays yesterday in four games.
