'Trumpet' Newsletter To Fall Silent In Md. Town
SMITHSBURG, Md. (AP) -- "The Trumpet," a newsletter that has heralded Smithsburg's news for 25 years, is publishing its last print issue and moving online.
The Herald-Mail of Hagerstown, Md., reports the Maryland town's newsletter will be discontinued after the December issue.
Officials plan to include town news on the city's new website, which was started a month ago.
