BALTIMORE (WJZ)– Anne Arundel County Executive John Leopold may be looking for a more high-profile job.
Leopold tells WJZ’s media partner, “The Baltimore Sun,” he is considering a run for state office in 2014 either for governor or state comptroller.
Political experts say Leopold’s personal issues would pose a challenge. He’s accused of misusing his security detail and named in a gender discrimination suit by a former employee.
