Panel On Public-Private Partnerships To Meet

ANNAPOLIS, Md. (AP) -- A Maryland panel on oversight of public and private partnerships is meeting to discuss best practices.

Lt. Gov. Anthony Brown will preside over the meeting in Annapolis on Wednesday.

The panel is called the Joint Legislative and Executive Commission on Oversight of Public-Private Partnerships. The commission will be discussing best practices for establishing partnerships while ensuring strong workforce protections.

The commission has 15 members. It will be hearing from representatives from national and state labor organizations, as well as experts who have developed processes for creating public-private partnerships in other states.
