Hazmat Scare At Harford County Jail

BEL AIR, Md. (WJZ) —  There was a hazmat scare at the Harford County jail Thursday.

A worker in the mail room was rushed to the hospital after opening a letter with white powder.

The worker felt sick and went to the hospital, but is now doing fine.

Police think the powder may be drugs.
