Man Convicted In Fatal Convenience Store Shooting

BALTIMORE (AP) -- A Baltimore County jury has convicted a man of fatally shooting a customer at a Catonsville convenience store two years ago and seriously wounding the store's owner.

The Baltimore Sun reports that Braderick Green could receive life without parole when he is sentenced next month. Green is already serving 11 life sentences in connection with a shootout with nearly a dozen officers that happened just days before the Nov. 17, 2009 robbery.

Prosecutors say Green walked into the store with a handgun and is face covered, and without provocation shot and killed customer Brian Meise. The owner of Yours Convenience Store, 56-year-old Sudhir Shah, was shot in the head during the robbery but managed to call 911.
