BLOG: Dry For Now

Enjoy the mild, dry conditions now because a new storm is on the way.

This next storm is coming in two different parts. The main energy is coming out of the Midwest, but it is going to draw a tropical disturbance north out of Florida. Clouds will take over here today or tonight, then the rain will arrive overnight as those two areas merge. Heavy rounds of rain are possible tomorrow before the storm leaves for Thursday.

Even though the main storm will be out of here Thursday, the effects will linger. Gusty winds will combine with scattered showers from an unsettled atmosphere. The winds will start to ease Friday as more sunshine takes over. However, the cooler air will linger. Highs will only be close to 60 degrees on Friday.

As of now, it looks like this will be another dry weekend. Expect sunshine and highs in the mid 60s on Saturday, then sun and clouds (with a front passing just to the north) Friday with similar temperatures.
