Woman Charged With DUI After Driving Wrong Way
FREDERICK, Md. (AP) -- Maryland State police have charged a woman with driving under the influence after they say she drove the wrong way on U.S. 15 in Frederick.
Troopers received a report about 1 a.m. Tuesday that a car was traveling in the wrong lanes of the road. According to the News-Post of Frederick, police say a trooper saw a car traveling south in the northbound lanes, weaving in and out of traffic.
The trooper pulled the car over.
Kirsten A. Voorhees, 29, of Frederick was arrested and released on personal recognizance.
