JESSUP, Md. (WJZ)– Howard County Police are investigating a murder at the Clifton Perkins Hospital. Detectives tell WJZ a patient killed his roommate Friday afternoon.

The hospital houses people who are not mentally competent to face criminal charges. The suspect was already charged with murder once in Montgomery County.

This is the second murder at the hospital in the last year. Police don’t have a motive yet.
