Who knew that the World Series would be decided by a telephone. OK, it’s not over yet but the Texas Rangers lead the St. Louis Cardinals 3-2 with game six tonight in St Louis. Game 7 will be tomorrow in St. Louis if the Cardinals win tonight, but the Rangers won Game 5 the other night in large part because future Hall of Fame manager Tony LaRussa couldn’t get his bullpen straight. This allowed Mike Napoli to face a lefty and double into the gap. The Rangers won 4-2. It’s been a great World Series thus far and since there’s no NFL football tonight, people will watch.
