Car Hits School Bus In Western Md.; No Injuries

OAKLAND, Md. (AP) -- The Garrett County Sheriff's Office says no one was hurt when a car hit a school bus carrying several students near Oakland.

The agency says a 42-year-old Deer Park woman driving a 2001 Toyota passenger car crossed the center line on Broadford Road and hit the bus at about 8:20 a.m. Wednesday.

Deputies ticketed the car driver. It was not clear what caused her to stray from her lane.
