WYE MILLS, Md. (AP) — Gov. Martin O’Malley is heading to the Eastern Shore for an announcement at Chesapeake College and a meeting of municipal officials.

O’Malley will be attending a ribbon-cutting ceremony for a wind turbine at the college in Wye Mills. It will be part of the college’s planned Center for Leadership in Environmental Education.

After that, he’s headed to Cambridge to deliver remarks at the Maryland Municipal League’s fall Conference Tuesday night. MML represents 157 municipal governments throughout the state. It’s a voluntary, nonprofit and nonpartisan association maintained by city and town governments.
