Md. Reopens Potomac River Access At Point Of Rocks

POINT OF ROCKS, Md. (AP) -- The Maryland Department of Natural Resources says boaters can once again launch their watercraft on the Potomac River at Point of Rocks.

The agency says an $850,000 upgrade and relocation of the boat ramp was finished in October.

The new, concrete ramp is 900 feet downstream from the old location. The facility includes 24 trailer parking spaces and 18 spaces for cars.
