GREENBELT, Md. (AP) — A Hyattsville man has been sentenced to more than eight years in prison for distributing child pornography.
A federal judge in Greenbelt sentenced David Twitty, 64, on Monday to 100 months in prison, followed by supervised release.
After his release, Twitty must also register as a sex offender.
Prosecutors say Twitty had confessed that he had been trafficking in child pornography for at least six years. Agents seized his computers and found more than 42,000 images and about 670 videos depicting children engaged in sexual conduct.
