After nine years with the Dallas Cowboys where he was primarily a center, Andre Gurode joined the Ravens at the start of the 2011 season and stepped into the right guard position in place of the injured Ben Grubbs for seven week. Not an easy transition, Gurode did a fine job on the left side but paired with fellow newbie Bryant McKinnie (left tackle) the left-side duo has faced their share of criticism. Prior to the Steelers game in Week 8, Gurode sat down with me to talk about the adjustments he’s had to make on a new team and a new position.
