1 Injured After Police-Involved Accident In Howard County

HOWARD COUNTY, Md. (WJZ) -- One person was injured after a police-involved accident in Howard County.

According to police, a police vehicle was in emergency mode, using its lights and siren. The officer was in the intersection of Leishear Road and MD Rt. 216 when a motorcyclist struck the police vehicle.

The police officer, Pfc Bryan Mason, was not injured. The motorcyclist, Frederick Lee Adkins, was taken to Shock Trauma. Adkins is in stable condition.
