Jeremy Conn: Coach Conn's Season Is Over

I'm sure some of you have heard me talking about coaching my sons football team. I was one of the assistant coaches on the Perry Hall 7-9C team. It was one of the best experiences of my life, working with these kids, and learning just as much from them as I hoped they learned from me.

Our team went 9-1 in the regular season, and we lost in the playoffs with about a minute left to go on a horrible call by the officials. I'm not going to sit here and complain about one of the worst calls I have dealt with in a football game. I just felt so bad for those kids that worked so hard to have it come down to that play.

It's starting to sink in that our season is over. I'm so proud of what they accomplished in such a short period of time. I still remember practicing without pads and seeing the finished product makes me smile. We had about 16 kids who were first year players. I'm gonna miss all the practices and more importantly those game days. I hope I'm doing the same thing next year.
