Montgomery County Seeks 2 In Thefts From Elderly
ROCKVILLE, Md. (AP) -- Montgomery County police say they are looking for two men suspected of stealing credit cards from elderly victims over several weeks.
Authorities told The Washington Post in Tuesday's edition that the suspects have stolen credit cards at several gas stations and automatic teller machines in and around Maryland's Washington suburbs. They say victims have included an 89-year-old man whose wallet was taken in an Olney medical office building on Sept. 9 and an 87-year-old woman victimized Oct. 20 at a supermarket in Silver Spring.
Authorities said an image of the men was captured on surveillance video at an area Target store and the suspects are black, each between 40 and 55 years old. Both are balding or have close cut hair and little or no facial hair.
