Ken Weinman: It's Never Easy
It's Never Easy, but a win is a win. The Baltimore Ravens defeated the Cincinnati Bengals 31-24 yesterday. The Ravens held a 31-14 lead early in the fourth quarter after a pretty TD pass from Joe Flacco to Torrey Smith. At that point I think Ravens fans thought the game was in the bag. Unfortunately, the Ravens wanted to give everyone there money's worth. Thank God for the "complete the catch" rule because otherwise Andrew Dalton has a TD pass to Jermaine Gresham and the Bengals only need a field goal at the end of the game. Ravens could have used the extra rest because Jim Harbaugh and the San Francisco 49ers are here Thanksgiving night
