Guns, Ammunition Turned In To Police

SYKESVILLE, Md. (AP) — The Sykesville Police Department says 13 guns and some 35 pounds of ammunition were turned in during the department’s first turn-in program.

Officers tell the Carroll County Times that about 30 people dropped off the guns and ammunition on Saturday.

The guns will be destroyed and the ammunition turned over to the State Fire Marshal’s office for disposal.
