Alleged Sexual Assault At Arundel High School Under Investigation
GAMBRILLS, Md. (WJZ)— An Arundel High School student says she was sexually assaulted by a male student in the school bathroom.
The Board of Education received an anonymous call about the incident on Monday. Anne Arundel County Police responded to the scene a little after 3:30 p.m.
The suspect was known to the victim, who says she was assaulted during the course of the school day.
At this time, the incident remains under investigation by the Criminal Investigation Division. The Anne Arundel County Police Department is working closely with school officials, who are taking the appropriate measures to prevent any contact between the victim and suspect as the investigation continues.
