Man Charged In Robbery, Stabbing Of Cab Driver

CUMBERLAND, Md. (AP) — Authorities say a 43-year-old man has been charged with stabbing and robbing a cab driver in Cumberland.

Terry Allen Craig of Cumberland was arrested Friday in Charles County. He is charged with robbery, assault and other offenses.

Investigators with the Allegany County Combined Criminal Investigation Unit say on Nov. 16, a cab driver was found with numerous stab wounds. The victim told authorities that he had picked up a fare in front of a department store that morning, and the suspect attacked him with a sharp object, took money and fled on foot.
