24-10 in Cleveland on week 13 was a nice outcome. The result is a 9-3 record, sitting atop the AFC and feeling pretty good about things… As they should… But there are things to look at.
The Browns were truly no threat, all game, to the Ravens and I would have liked a few more points scored against that caliber of opponent. The points were out there too, in the form of two missed field goals by Billy Cundiff (34 & 41 yards) and a failed 4-1 conversion on the 25 yard line. That said, Lardarius Webb got most of those points back on a 68 yard punt return for a touchdown.
So, with overwhelming stats and a pretty easy game is it wrong to be greedy? Am I being greedy? Maybe so because there was really no point in the game where I thought Baltimore was at risk. Maybe 24-10 with some missed opportunities ain’t so bad after all. Either way if it is a problem it’s a good one to have. Worrying whether the team scored enough points in a divisional win on the road, yeah I’ll take that. Keep the running train on the tracks and it will continue to be difficult to derail the Ravens.
