Flags To Be Lowered In Memory Of Pearl Harbor
ANNAPOLIS, Md. (AP) -- Gov. Martin O'Malley has ordered flags to be lowered to mark the 70th anniversary of the attack on Pearl Harbor.
United States and Maryland flags should be flown at half-staff on Wednesday from sunrise to sunset.
The flag lowering is meant to honor Americans who sacrificed their lives for freedom and the nation's security on National Pearl Harbor Remembrance Day.
