Md. Authorities Look For Witnesses Of Shooting
TAKOMA PARK, Md. (AP) -- Prince George's County detectives would like to talk to two people who stopped after a crash over the weekend that led to the police-involved shooting death of an Odenton man.
Authorities say the two Good Samaritans, described as a man and a woman, could inform them about the Saturday incident in Takoma Park.
Police say a 19-year-old man tried to steal a Porsche at a gas station on Saturday, stabbing the luxury car's owner. The suspect then fled in another car, striking three other vehicles.
Authorities say he tried to take the car of a woman who stopped to help and another man came to her aid.
Authorities say suspect Keston David Lewis was shot by a Takoma Park police officer after he struggled with a female officer.
