Girl, 2, Found Alone In Capitol Heights Apartment

CAPITOL HEIGHTS, Md. (AP) — Prince George’s County police say the father of a 2-year-old girl who was found alone in a Capitol Heights apartment has been charged.

Police spokesman Cpl. Evan Baxter said Wednesday that Anthony Venson, 24, has been charged reckless endangerment, unattended child and neglect of a minor.

Police say they received a call about 12:30 p.m. Tuesday from the child’s mother, who was in a hospital and unable to reach the child’s father. Authorities say officers went to the apartment in the 6900-block of Walker Mill Road, where they found the girl in a back bedroom.

Police say the girl had been unattended for several hours and was “extremely hungry.” The girl was unharmed.

What makes you think the mother is on welfare or gets anything for FREE. Nothing noted above does not imply what you two ideas has written. She left the baby with its father unaware that he would leave her alone. Some young fathers are not responsible or think…duh..
