Man Dies After Suffering Burns In Baltimore Fire

BALTIMORE (AP) -- Authorities say a man died after suffering second- and third-degree burns to nearly his entire body in a fire in Baltimore.

Baltimore firefighters responded to the one-alarm blaze on Rectory Street in the Hampden community on Tuesday afternoon.

Paramedics tried to resuscitate the man at the scene and then took him to a burn center, where he died.

The man's identity hasn't been released. A statement from the fire department says the cause of the fire remains under investigation.
